I&#039;m beginning to give my nieces and nephews grief about what I see on their social networking spaces... I&#039;m sure they are wanting to unfriend me at this point! They are just not informed and are not seeing the potential implications of their social life when it is laid bare before the entire world.</description>

This is a really important issue &amp; I had a similar discussion with some educators in Canada recently. The main thrust of the thinking was that those drunken party photos - once on the internet, can NEVER be erased - and may come against you in a professional sense in years to come.

I think that we all have to think carefully about our digital image and we can use it to our advantage if it is planned &amp; monitored.
